2013 Poster Final

Smithies, V-Day is quickly approaching. And you know I’m not talking about any Hallmark bullshit.

from Kyla Prior ’14, Chair and Director of Smith College V-Day/The Vagina Monologues ’12-’13

brought to you by Smith College V-Day 2013

what are The Vagina Monologues?: The Vagina Monologues is an annual event that draws together the Smith and the greater Northampton community. Written by Eve Ensler, a famous playwright and activist, it celebrates the bodies of all women, questions social norms, and inspires one to rethink assumptions about the vagina.

why should I go?: Each monologue has something different to offer or consider. You will laugh, cry, relate and reexamine. In addition to being a central event to the Smith Community, it is a large fundraiser for SafePassage, a shelter for victims of domestic abuse in Northampton. The show constitutes as one of their primary fundraising events.

when?: Saturday, February 16th at 8pm

where?: John M. Greene Hall

please note: The Vagina Monologues are wheelchair accessible.  If you need disability accommodations or sign language interpretation, please e-mail or call 413-585-2639 for more information.

cost: Tickets are for sale for $5, in advance, through Smith houses for all Smithies. Look out for an email from your HP about getting tickets if you haven’t received one already.
